During the WINTER Kinderparadies is open 7 days a week, we offer a full service kinder-garten with half day and full day supervision. Our toddler corner is especially set up for our younger guests starting from the age of 3 months. From December through until April, the Kinderparadies is open 7 days a week from 9.00 a.m until 5.00 p.m. We accept children from 3 months of age until 5 or 6 years of age. The older children usually prefer to join one of the local ski schools in order to learn skiing after 4 years of age. We have a large indoor play area which is divided into different themes. The older children are immediately drawn to the Softplay area of tunnels, slides and ball pit which is similar to the McDonald’s fun parks or some day nurseries that you may find at shopping centers. All of the material is specially designed for child safety and use.

Winter Fun at the Kinderparadies:

The structure is over two stories with different sections. We have an additional ball pit for some of the smaller children which is adjacent to the play area. On the other side of the room we have our arts & crafts tables, Barbie and doll play area as well as a great Lego corner for building all sorts of little inventions. There is a large area for the boys as well including cars, truck, garages and a tool bench and of course we have a quiet area for stories and resting. Upstairs is a specially designed enclosed area for the toddlers and smaller infants from 3 months of age. This part of the Kinderparadies has been specially designed with soft flooring and loads of toys to help develop those tiny hands and minds. Outside play area:One of most enjoyable activities revolves around the use of the outdoor winter playground, which is adjacent to our building. With the help of a snow cannon at the beginning of December (depending on temperatures and conditions) we prepare a small slope. We use the slope for sledging and sliding, as well fun as and games. We have some additional Sofplay tubes set up through an Igloo once we have enough snow, as well as some slides, a Lego table and plenty of shovels to use in the snow. Its important that the children have proper winter clothes with hats, gloves and sunglasses so that they can thoroughly enjoy the snow outside. For many of our children, this is the only time that they can play in the snow! Toddlers:One of most important aspects of the business is the caring of smaller infants after 3 months of age. We have specially trained and certified staff that handle the toddlers and plan the daily activities around the abilities of each child. We try and keep the young ones to the same daily routine that they have at home, which is one of the reasons we also request that you provide your own formula for the bottles as well as your own baby foods if needed, so that these routines can be carried on. Almost all of the toddlers take a nap after lunch and the even the smaller ones are taken outside for a stroll in the pram when the weather permits. Please feel free to call at any time to insure that your child is settling into the Kinderparadies without a problem.

A typical day in winter:

Arrival time is normally between 9.00 – 10.00 in the morning. During the arrival of the children, we have supervised “playtime”, where we let the children play where they want and choose their own playmates. Around 10.00 we close and lock the door before we introduce ourselves and then split the children into different age and interest groups. Some will do arts & crafts, some games, etc. Around 11.00 we usually bring all the kids together for songs and stories. Lunch is served around 11.30 – 12.00. The older children will get ready to go outside after lunch, whereas the younger children will get ready for their afternoon naps. Most of the children are outside between 12.30 and 3.00 p.m., which is by far the warmest part of the day. Around 3.00 p.m. the children are slowly brought back inside where we try and dry off the wet winter clothes and allow the children some more supervised play time. Again the choices are made for the most part by the children themselves: play area, ball pit, arts & crafts, Barbies, Lego, etc.

You can make a reservation here knowing your child is going to have a great time at the KinderParadies!
